The current replacement product for the AG6601 is the AG7000 Thin Client Terminal. If a Centronics Parllalel Printer Port is needed, the IA8600 Thin Client Terminal is the alternative product.

Overview

The ST5500 series is a flexible, affordable midrange desktop appliance. An extremely efficient, "green" virtual desktop device, the ST5500 is powered by a VIA EdenC7 processor at 500Mhz. The ST5500 combines reliable performance, as well as software and peripheral device flexibility.

DUAL-video ready, this mid-range solution is an energy efficient platform. Additionally, the form factor is flexible delivering VESA mounting options, which can offer a zero desktop footprint solution. This will make deployment in space constrained situations effortless, and significantly reduce the desktop footprint of the desktop solution. An 802.11 b/g wireless option provides mobility, and wireless performance that is the best in the thin client market.

The ST5500 is a hardware platform that will support Windows Embedded Standard (WES), Windows CE 6, or Linux out of the box. Citrix, Microsoft, VMWare, and CLI TermPro clients are all standard, as is an internet browser. In addition, CLI's management software is included with each device, which brings a whole new meaning to "rapid deployment."

For users looking to deliver connectivity with significantly reduced energy consumption at a low price point, the ST5500 is unparalleled. The ST5500 comes with memory configurations ranging up to unlimited flash configurations, with 1 GB of RAM. The ST5500 delivers performance, and flexibility. With an efficient "green" design, combined with the powerful processing chipset and multiple operating system options, the ST5500 can easily be customized to deliver a dual monitor, long term desktop appliance.

Windows XPe (Windows XP embedded) is available as well.
