Overview
OmniTerm/ES from NLynx Ltd. is a simple and straight forward software suite
designed for communication with System i (i5, iSereis &
AS/400), IBM Mainframes, and Unix applications.
If you are currently using ETU File
Transfer or NLynx ES/TCP software and need to upgrade your PCs to
Windows 10, Windows 8 and Windows 7 models, OmniTerm/ES will provide you with the
product needed to do this. It provides display and printer
emulation over TCP/IP to your AS/400 and is compatible with both 32-bit and 64-bit
environments.
OmniTerm/ES
provides TN3270e, TN5250e,
VT420 and Twinax connectivity. OmniTerm/ES
has 2 versions, one for 32-bit and one for 64-bit.
OmniTerm/ES also is part of the new
NLynx USB Twinax
Emulation Kit. It connects via a USB cable to any PC, laptop
or notebook computer.

independently while another host or PC application is active.

Hotspots identify host menu items. Host menu items and function
keys can be assigned colors. Employ this aesthetic and intuitive approach to locate them
quickly and easily.

Keystroke memory and playback (macros)
- Predefine keystrokes for
automated sign-on, repetitive data entry, or unattended operation. Store as many as 2,048
keystrokes in up to 24 keyboard macros.

File Transfer Support - ETU, an industry standard
File Transfer from NLynx
Systems, allows direct file transfer between the PC and
System i, i5, iSeries AS/400, System/36,
or Advanced Series/36.
